Our user-testing revealed that patients were searching for only a handful of hospital and system amenities. We aimed to broaden their horizons. The Explore Panel revolutionizes location discovery by eliminating the need for text or map-based searches. Previously, users had to know what to search for, but now, they can effortlessly discover key locations.
This panel empowers clients to curate lists of relevant places for app users. It presents an organized array of shortcuts, each linked to a list of places. These recommendations are tailored for each site, depending on the map state—whether it's an individual site or a network-wide view on the global map.

Ideation
The original Gozio platform required users to know precisely what they were searching for. In response, we created a contextual, user-centered search system that has since become the central hub of the patient's app experience.
The Explore panel showcases destinations that the hospital wishes to highlight, as well as all recent user searches. This feature allows users to maintain context with their current page or map as they explore, eliminating the need to navigate through numerous static pages.
